Jim Green, Portfolio Manager

Jim joined CGOV Asset Management in 2002 and is responsible for managing private client relationships and ensuring the investment strategies match clients' financial objectives. He is also a member of the CGOV Asset Management Board and Investment Committee.

Jim has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry and was most recently a Partner and Vice President at TAL Private Management Ltd.

Jim graduated from York University and holds the CIM (Canadian Investment Manager) and PFP (Professional Financial Planner) designations from the Canadian Securities Institute. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Toronto CFA Society.

Jim served a 6-year term as a Director and then Treasurer, Vice-Chair of Muscular Dystrophy Canada (MDC). He was also a member of the campaign cabinet for Neuromuscular Research, a joint project of ALS and MDC. Jim served as a Director and member of the Finance Committee of the Family Service Association of Toronto. Currently, Jim serves as a board member for the CGOV Foundation.
