Roy Hewson, CFA, Portfolio Manager

Roy joined CGOV Asset Management in 1997 and is responsible for researching and selecting investments which are consistent with the firm's investment philosophy. Roy oversees the Canadian equity, equity income and fixed income strategies. Roy is also a member of the CGOV Asset Management Board and Investment Committee.

Roy has over 20 years of investment industry experience including seven years of corporate lending and analysis in Canada and the U.S. with the Bank of Nova Scotia.

Roy holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation from the CFA Institute, and earned his undergraduate and Master of Business Administration degrees from Queen's University.

Roy serves as a board member for the ALS Society of Ontario, and sits on its finance committee.
